The Intersectional Narrative Lab
About
Who are you when no one is watching?Join our talented choreographer and Artist in Residence, Sheena Chundee, for an immersive workshop exploring the shifting nature of identity across different spaces
Inspired by her new solo dance work, this interactive session examines how we shape, perform, and express our multiple identities through body and voice. Through guided movement exercises, reflective writing, and open conversation, participants will be invited to dive deeper into how identity evolves depending on environment, community, and personal experience.
This workshop offers a supportive and creative space to explore self-expression, connection, and transformation — encouraging participants to discover new ways of embodying and articulating who they are.
Participants are also invited to record short reflections (with full consent) which will be layered into a collective audio composition shared with STACC and the community. Selected 'sound bites' may also become part of Sheena’s developing performance, allowing local stories to shape the artistic work.
This is not a performance class, it is a creative, supportive and thought-provoking space to move, speak openly and connect.
No experience required.
