Soft Pastel Workshop with Stephie Clark
About
Glass and Petals: The Secret of Values and Edges with reknowned soft pastel Artist Stephie Clark‘A quiet bouquet rests in glass, and from it we learn to see.’
In this workshop we will look beyond objects to the shapes of value that hold them together, allowing edges to soften, disappear, and return like breath. The glass will be described not by line, but by what shimmers within it — stems, water, and gentle contrasts — while petals emerge through subtle transitions of tone. This is a slow, thoughtful process of observation and restraint, where a few well-placed edges carry the whole painting, and simplicity becomes luminous.
This workshop is ideal for those with some soft pastel art experience.
