This workshop explores the fundamentals of fundraising, introducing a range of fundraising approaches and practical strategies for building and nurturing strong donor relationships. Attendees will develop skills to confidently secure funding, write compelling grant applications, and plan effective fundraising activities. The session will cover how to identify suitable funding sources, write persuasive proposals, and implement ethical, values-aligned fundraising strategies. We will also take a closer look at the Alike WA Pay It Forward (PIF) Grant as an example, including an overview of the application process and tips to support a strong submission.This is an in-person workshop.
