Six-piece Sydney band, Chasing the Moon return to Leichhardt Bowlo!The all-star band, featuring Kathy Bluff on lead vocals & violin and Garry Steel on accordion, present a feast of Manouche and Latin inspired music, drawing on the traditions of Django Rheinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, and embellishing them with Latin flavours.
The band plays with energy and passion, bringing a freshness to the way different styles are combined, a mix of hot club with the blues, a touch of folk, Latin rhythms, plus lashings of swing and modern elements too. The vocals soar over arrangements that are original and provide just the right framework for each musician to shine.
