About

Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Workshop is designed to give staff the knowledge to safely manage the accessing, dressing and removal of a PICC line.
Attendees will be provided with the pathophysiology of Central lines, best practice guidelines for PICC management and hands on practical time with simulated lines.
Following the Workshop all nursing staff who access PICC lines will need to complete the 4 (four) competencies for: Intermittent access, Blood taking, Dressing change & Removal of PICC lines before independent practice is permitted.
