Join us as we gather as one community to warmly welcome the Migrant Jubilee Cross to the Archdiocese of Perth during the Jubilee of Migrants, 2025-2026.As the Cross journeys across Australia, it invites us to celebrate and give thanks for the faith, gifts, contributions and resilience that migrant communities bring to our Church and wider community.
Crafted from Australian timber and set upon a boat-shaped base, the Cross reflects the migrant journey in search of safety, belonging and peace. Marked with the Southern Cross and containing relics of the Holy Family and Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, it stands as a powerful sign of hope, welcome and God’s abiding love for all people.
