Where will we sleep?

We will sleep in dormitory style accommodation. You will share a room with a few other students (of the same gender). You can see photos of the place where we will stay at the Woodhouse Adventure Park website.

Is there Wi-Fi and phone reception?

There is Wi-Fi at the site. Phone reception is available, but limited.

When do I need to register by?

Please register by 10 April.

How do I get there?

We will arrange someone to drive you from Adelaide to Woodhouse Adventure Park and back again.

Can I come part time?

Part time is only possible if you are able to arrange your own transport. There is a Saturday day visitor ticket that covers lunch and dinner on the Saturday. There is no discount for staying only one.

What will we do?

The weekend will have a range of different activities. We will have main sessions where we will sing and hear talks from the Bible. We'll have some elective interactive workshops on topics relating to knowing Jesus. We'll share great food together over meals. We'll have indoor and outdoor group fun time. And there will also be plenty of time to chat, go for a walk, play board games and maybe even a nap.

Payments

Unless other arrangements have been made with the conference team, full payment must be made one week before the commencement of the conference.

Refunds

Partial and full payments can be refunded up to one week before the conference starts. However, after this date no refunds are available.

We understand that life is unpredictable and as such will act with the appropriate discretion in regards to unexpected circumstances such as sickness, family illness/trauma, exams etc. Such situations will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the team.

Registrations are transferable, so should you find yourself unable to attend, but are aware of someone who would like to attend and will purchase your registration from you, please request a transfer by contacting the conference team.

Promotional materials

We take photos and videos during the conference and may capture your image as part of this. By registering and attending the conference you are agreeing to allow us to use your image in promotional materials. Please let the team know if you do not want your image to appear in promotional materials, or on our website or social media pages.

Other

By registering for and attending the conference you acknowledge that you attend the conference at your own risk. While organisers and leaders will take reasonable care, you agree not to hold FOCUS Adelaide, leaders or organisers responsible for personal injury or loss. You must be over 18 years old to attend FOCUS Adelaide residential conferences.
