FAQ:

1. How much space will I have to scrapbook?
You will be seated at a large round table with 4 other people.

2. What kind of training sessions will there be?
There will be three different Breakout Sessions and a couple of short 10min talks. Attendees will have the opportunity, when booking, to suggest topics they are interested in learning about. As the event gets closer, attendees will also be given the chance to indicate their preferences for Breakout Session topics.

3. How much time will I have to scrapbook?
The crop room will be available 10am-5pm (doors will open at 9.30am).

4. Will I need to bring my own tools and supplies?
All attendees will receive gifts on arrival. These can be used during the event or kept for later use. Everything needed for the Breakout Sessions will be provided (or a list of supplies to bring, will be given in advance). If you plan to work on your own project, you will need to bring the tools and supplies you need. Attendees will be given the option to pre-order supplies to be collected at the event.

5. Will there be product available for purchase?
There will be a shop set up from Heidi’s inventory including single sheet cardstock and tape runner refills.

6. Is there a virtual option?
No – this is an in-person only event.

7. What is the cost?
Discounted Early Bird Tickets* (available until 30th April):

8. Are meals included?
Lunch is included and will be served buffet style in the crop room, with tea/coffee and water available to drink. You will be able to purchase other drinks from The Atrium (Ground Floor).

Dinner is only included if you purchase a combined Main Event & Dinner Ticket. At 6pm we will gather at Tasman Restaurant (Ground Floor) for a two-course meal. Each guest will choose one main and one dessert option from a limited menu (there will be three choices for each course). You will need to buy your own drinks.

9. Is there car parking on-site?
Yes. Grand Chancellor Hotel has their own underground car park with limited spaces. In-house accommodation guests are offered the special rates of $25 Self-Park or $50 Valet. Public parking is ticketed with hourly rates starting at $4.50 per hour. Please note – There is no lift access to the main hotel from the underground car park. Access is via stairs only.

There are several other public car parks within walking distance of the hotel. For more information, please contact Heidi and ask for a parking flyer.

10. Is the hotel offering a discounted room rate for this event?
Yes. Attendees are welcome to book a room at the hotel for this event. The discount rates are:
• City View Room: $300.00 per room per night, room only
• Harbour View Room: $350.00 per room per night, room only

11. What airport should I use?
Hobart Airport then catch the SkyBus to Stop 1 (Grand Chancellor Hotel – Bus stop on Campbell Street near Davey Street). Visit https://www.skybus.com.au/hobart-express for more information about the SkyBus service.

12. Is this considered a business expense?
If you are a CM Independent Advisor, this could be considered a training event. Please seek your own Tax advice regarding how to write off all travel and registration costs as a business expense.

13. Is this a Creative Memories corporate event?
No. CM Home Office is supporting this event, but the organiser and host is CM Independent Advisor Heidi Howard.

14. What is the Refund Policy for this event?
If you change your mind or are unable to attend on the day, there will be no refunds. However, you will still receive all the attendance gifts and handouts that you would have received, if you had attended in person. We will contact you after the event to confirm your mailing address and then send your gifts via post.

Dinner - If you have purchased a combined Main Event & Dinner ticket, and you can't attend the Dinner on the night, a refund for this amount may be possible, if enough notice is given. Please contact Heidi as early as possible if you need to cancel the Dinner part of your ticket.

Ticket Transfers - In certain circumstances you may be able to transfer your ticket to another person. Please contact Heidi to discuss this option.

15. What is the Cancellation Policy for this event?
If, for any reason this event is cancelled, we will do our best to organise a full refund for you (less unavoidable costs) or provide you with an alternative event on the same day.
