Join renowned illustrator Tai Snaith for a hands-on collage adventure! Working with watercolours, inks, paper, scissors and glue, participants will explore Tai’s distinctive layered style to create their own vibrant artwork.Young artists will experiment, play and build their creations piece by piece - and the excitement doesn’t stop there! Participants can choose to leave their finished piece with us to be professionally mounted and displayed in a special exhibition at Galada Community Centre during the next school holidays (full details shared at the workshop).
Tai brings the same imaginative techniques she uses to create her eight published picture books with Thames & Hudson, along with the creative spirit that saw her shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards in London and win the Banyule Works on Paper Prize. An artist across painting, sculpture and collage, Tai is passionate about nature, storytelling and inspiring young minds through art and reading.
This is a rare opportunity to learn from an award-winning illustrator, build new skills, and have your work featured in a community exhibition, just like a professional artist.
