This is a concert that our late conductor Harlie Axford was putting together with songs from the past through to songs of the present and songs he envisaged would still be popular in the future. It includes songs from the 13th Century (Summer is Icumen In), Les Miserables, the Beatles, David Bowie (Space Oddity), Beach Boys (Good Vibrations), music from Gibbons (The Silver Swan), and the dramatic finale to Candide by Leonard Bernstein (Make Your Garden Grow). Also featured will be Handel's Air from Water Music and a number of songs by the Hot Chilli Chicks and Cool Chilli Dudes.Date
