Notre Dame OT Student Moving and Handling Training

Welcome to your future career as an occupational therapist!This is a mandatory moving and handling training session for first year occupational therapy students at Notre Dame University.
Your day is allocated by the university. Please attend at the following times depending on whether you are allocated a morning or evening session.
Morning Sessions - 8:30am start - 12:00pm finish
Afternoon Sessions - 12:30pm start - 16:00pm finish
In this session you will be introduced to the key concepts of moving and handling of people that is used to prevent back injury to workers and to protect clients when they need to be moved. As well as learning how to keep yourself safe, you will learn about what occupational therapists do in this space in offering expertise in the moving and handling of people.
You have been allocated to training times and dates via the university, this link allows you to pay for the training.
