Software Workshop - Isadora Program with Tim Gruchy
About
In this workshop, you will work with Tim Gruchy to create interactive digital artwork using Isadora software. More than a program, Isadora is an object-oriented programming environment designed by artists for artists. It is very easy to learn and suitable for beginners through to experts.Tim Gruchy has had an extensive career in multimedia digital art, experimenting with new forms as technology progresses. He now invites you to join in on the journey by creating your own artwork.
Participants to bring:
- Laptop with Isadora-4 Installed: Once you register, the gallery will provide you with access to a 1 week trial period of the Isadora-4 program. This will be sent 1-2 days prior to the workshop. Participants should bring their own laptop or computer with Isadora fully preinstalled and registered. Isadora runs on MacOS and Windows. Computers should also have a webcam, either inbuilt or external.
Participants without access to a laptop may request the gallery to provide one for the duration of the workshop.
- Files: Please also bring your multimedia ideas and media that relates. This could be picture files, digital video files or audio files.
