Will Dobud - Kids These Days
About
2:30pm for 3pm Sunday 12 AprilWill Dobud, launched by Kaya Lyons
In "Kids These Days,” therapists and researchers Will Dobud and Nevin Harper draw on 20+ years of clinical work with teens and families to examine youth mental health from 40,000 feet. This unflinching protest book empowers readers to shift from "fixing" kids to creating supportive environments that foster emotional resilience.
"Kids These Days" is a call to action: stop waiting for external fixes and deviate from status quo norms that have worsened mental health outcomes since the 1950s. By viewing youth as capable heroes navigating an adult-created world, it empowers readers to create cultural shifts toward genuine support, resilience, and well-being.
"This is a crucial read for anyone living or working with children and youth. Highly recommended." — Dr. Bruce D. Perry, co-author of What Happened to You?
Kids These Days is a must-read book and protest against harmful mental health treatments for children and youth. —Paris Hilton
