About
Tasmania Collective, Australia’s boldest new professional chamber orchestra featuring twelve outstanding, fearless freelancers, presents Vertex - a series that pushes musicians and audiences to the edge. Step beyond tradition - each one hour performance is electrifying: dramatic lighting, magnetic stage presence, and fearless repertoire from Holly Harrison’s Black Ice and Kilar’s Orawa to Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings. Every performance ignites — and the fire spreads from stage to seats. Building on a sold-out debut, Vertex expands across Tasmania, inspiring the next generation of musicians and audiences. Classical music with fire. Classical music with a twist.
