General Information
Dear Joeys and Parents
1st Balcombe Heights Joeys will be collecting rubbish around the scout hall, along the bike path and bush/creeks around the Hall and baseball field.
Activity Plan:
Joeys will be walking via 'easy' grade marked trails and pathways for approx 30mins each way. Terrain will be a mix of sealed and unsealed walkways.
We will provide the bags for both rubbish and recycling. Council will be taking the waste at the end.
Please ensure that a registration is completed for all people attending.

Wet Weather:
The event will continue in light rain, however if the rain is heavy it will be cancelled.
This event will run in the rain. Bring a rain-coat!
The event will be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Cancellation will be advised by email & SMS.
What to Bring:
Participants will need to wear/bring the following:

Uniform for members

Broad-brimmed hat

Sunscreen

Long Sleeve shirt under uniform (Recommended)

Water Bottle

Closed Shoes (NOT Crocs, Sandals, or Thongs)

Gardening Gloves (if you do not have any we will have a few pairs)
Parents & Siblings:
Parent helpers ans siblings are very welcome! Please register a ticket for each person attending.
Feeling Sick?
Please don't come if you're feeling sick.
Our immuno-compromised youth members are at risk of serious illness if they contract 'simple' viruses or infections.
Regardless, it's not nice to spread your germs with other kids or volunteers.
You should stay home and DO NOT attend Scouts if:
- You have an illness (or even mild symptoms) such as fever, cough, sore throat, rash, or runny nose, even if you think you 'feel fine'.
- You have vomited anytime in the last 24hrs for any reason.
Attendees to any event with signs of illness such as fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, etc may be sent home immediately.
