Tascal WINTER BALL WEEKEND 2026
Tascal Winter Ball Weekend 2026 with musicians Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt. This is our dancing highlight of the year as we join together with our many friends.
On Friday evening, we welcome friends and family from near and far with a casual night of pizza, trivia quizzes, fun dances and supper at St George's Church Hall, Battery Point.
Saturday evening is the gala event in the beautiful historic Hobart Town Hall ballroom with Chris and Catherine's vibrant music.
On Sunday, bring friends and family to our picnic lunch and dance with Chris and Catherine and other musicians at the Richmond Town hall in historic Richmond village.

Every year our musicians, Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt electrify the evening with their passionate playing, inviting us to dance with energy and joy.
Gather in Hobart's elegant historic Town Hall at 7pm to meet friends and enjoy a friendly drink. The Grand March begins at 7.30pm, then we dance the night away. Enjoy a sumptuous supper during the evening. Our programme includes favourites old and new for everyone to enjoy.

The evening was so popular last year, let's enjoy more!
A super friendly styled evening for friends and family to attend. Begin the evening indulging in pizzas from Da Angelo's famous Italian restaurant. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available. It's then time for the fun to begin with trivia quizzes (it's ok, you don't have to bone up on all things SCDing!) interspersed with fun dances to induce laughter! Supper to follow.

Sunday, 16 August: Richmond Picnic
Join friends and family for a relaxing picnic day at the Richmond Town Hall in the historic village of Richmond. Bring food to share, dancing shoes, musical instruments to play with Chris and Catherine. This is a fun day to relax with friends after the energy of the ball. There's always time to explore the galleries and shops and activities of this beautiful village.11.00am to 3.00pm, $10.00 per person
