Bow Ball 2026
About
The Bow Ball is a celebration of the end of school rowing for year 12 Rowers and Coxswains. All senior rowers and their parents are invited to attend. Rowers and Coxswains are able to invite guests who have supported them in their rowing journey.Year 12 Rowers and Coxes are permitted 2 parent tickets and 6 guest tickets.
Year 11 Rowers and Coxes are permitted 2 parent tickets and 1 guest ticket.
This event is organised by the Captains of Boats parent's and committee.
Your child has been invited to attend the Bow Ball either as a rower, coxswain or a guest of a rower/coxswain. This is an invitation only private function to be held at Flying Brick Cider Co, 1251-1269 Bellarine Hwy, Wallington.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Please be aware that this is a licensed venue. No food or beverages are permitted to be brought onto the premises for consumption during or after the event. As the operator of a licensed venue, Flying Brick Cider Co is required to meet specific obligations in relation to the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Flying Brick Cider Co staff are committed to the regulations of RSA and reserve the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any person who is intoxicated or exhibiting signs of intoxication. Intoxicated individuals will be requested to leave the property in a safe manner with assistance from onsite security employed for this event. Flying Brick's staff will endeavor to prevent underage drinking on the premises and proof of age identification will be requested. There will be zero tolerance of dangerous, illegal or disrespectful behavior and consequences will include the individual’s parents being contacted to collect them and/or the early completion of festivities.
To ensure a safe, responsible, and fun night we require that at least one parent of each attending rower/coxswain is present, or has nominated an attending parent to supervise their child and guests. Please read and discuss these terms with your child and their guests to ensure behavior expectations are met.
Attending parents are responsible for their child and those nominated in their care for the night.
TRANSPORT:
A bus to and from the event is available from St Joseph's Queens Rd car park - departing at 6.30pm, returning approximately 11.45pm to same location.
