Safe to Sing - A Nervous System Reset
About
Safe to Sing – A Nervous System Reset Through Voice, Sound & TremoringTallebudgera Hall, Gold Coast
Have you ever felt your throat tighten when you try to express yourself?
Many people live with a nervous system that feels constantly braced — tight chest, shallow breath, emotional reactivity, difficulty relaxing.
Safe to Sing is a gentle, guided experience using breath, tremoring, sound and voice to help the body release stress and return to a state of safety and regulation.
Most people who come believe they “can’t sing.”
This isn’t about being a “good singer.”
It’s about changing your relationship with your voice and giving yourself permission to enjoy and express it however it naturally shows up.
Many people have a natural desire to sing, but somewhere along the way something shuts it down — fear of being heard, tension in the body, or simply not feeling safe to express.
When the nervous system begins to settle, the voice often opens naturally.
This workshop creates a supportive space where your body can relax, your breath can deepen, and your voice can begin to emerge with more freedom.
No singing experience is required.
During the workshop we will explore
• Therapeutic tremoring to release stored tension, anxiety and stress from the body
• Breath and sound practices to regulate the nervous system
• Gentle voice activation to explore and free the natural voice
• Somatic embodiment exercises to reconnect with the body
• Group singing as a safe and joyful shared experience
Many participants are surprised by how quickly their voice begins to feel freer once the body relaxes.
This workshop is for you if
• You feel stressed, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself
• You notice tension or tightness in your throat or chest
• You want to calm your nervous system in a natural way
• You love singing but feel shy, blocked or self-conscious
• You want a safe space to explore your voice without judgement
