ACT Keyboard Association Student Concert – 23 May 2026
Calling All Student Performers (21 Years and Under)!
We are delighted to announce that our next ACTKA Student Concert will be held on Saturday, 23 May 2026 at Radford College Chapel (1 College St, Bruce ACT 2617).
This is a fantastic opportunity for students preparing for AMEB exams in June to gain valuable performance experience.
This concert is open to:
- Current ACTKA Student Members
- Students of Current ACTKA Teaching Members

Important Concert Guidelines – Please Read Carefully
These guidelines have changed since our last concert:
- Student Entry Limits:
ACTKA Teachers may enter up to 5 students in total.
With the concert only just over an 1 hour, and many teachers wanting to take advantage of this performance opportunity, we have limited space.
Teachers wishing to register more than 5 students should email us at act.keyboardassociation@gmail.com. Extra students will be placed on a waiting list and we will contact you if we have sufficient space.
- Concert Selection:
Students may only perform in one concert – choose either:- 1:30 PM Session, OR
- 3:30 PM Session.
- Performance Time Limit:
- Students may perform one piece up to 7 minutes in length.
- Students with shorter pieces (around 1 minute) may perform two pieces. Please include both titles, composers, and duration in your registration form.
- Please ensure that the full title of the piece (including any work number) and full name of the composer is included and correct.
- Audience Tickets:
- $5 per person
- Free for:
- Under 18s
- Current ACTKA members
- Please note: Adults accompanying ACTKA student members must still purchase a ticket.
- Concert Attire:
Student Concerts are performance practice opportunities. Students are expected to dress appropriately for performance. In particular, older students are role models for younger students. Casual attire such as shorts, hoodies, track pants, thongs, and torn jeans are not considered appropriate performance attire.
- Concert Etiquette:
Strictly no talking or noise during performances. If you are being disruptive, you will be asked to leave promptly. Students and audience members must remain for the whole concert session.
Performers are expected to acknowledge the audience at the end of their performance by bowing.
- Tickets:
All performer and audience tickets are non-refundable.
