We will be working on elements from the Aquatics Outdoor Adventure Skills badge during our Splashin' About Session at Aquanation. Cubs will rotate through different activities to demonstrate their swim, float safety and treading water abilities.Please fill out the 2026 Swim Ability Survey for each child attending the event. Cost: We have hired a side lane to undertake our badgework, therefore all Cubs will be required to pay the $4 fee. This includes pool entry and the lane hire. Adults/spectators not required to pay.
What to Wear: Cubs shirt and scarf with bathers underneath, slip on footwear like thongs or crocs
What to Bring: Towel, Goggles if needed, soap, water bottle, PJ's to change into at the end of the night
Please arrive at 7:15pm. Cubs will be in the water from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Parents please arrive at 8:30pm and supervise changing process of your child.
We have one of our Scout Group parents who is a qualified swimming instructor joining us on the night. Thank you to those parents who have signed up to come along on the night. We will touch base with logistics closer to the night.
