Setting its narrative arc in the 1920s, the film follows four generations of young martial artists within a single family, tracing the historical transformations of the Greater Bay Area over nearly a century—from the 1925 Canton-Hong Kong Strike to the present day.
The production integrates iconic elements of Foshan's heritage, including Dragon and Lion dance, Cantonese Opera, and Ancestral Temple culture. Featuring authentic action sequences of Southern Chinese martial arts—such as Wing Chun, Choy Li Fut, and Hung Ga—the film defines itself as a "Kung Fu Comedy" by blending signature Hong Kong-style humor with local Cantonese wit.
