General Information
Dear Parents,
1st Balcombe Heights Joeys will be heading on to the ice @ Macquarie Ice Rink.
Please meet at the enterance of the Ice Rink at the Macquarie Centre @ 5.30pm. This will give us time to make payments, get the Joeys fitted with their skates and on to the ice for the start of the session at 6pm.
Activity Plan:
Joeys will be attending Macquarie Ice Rink and attending a public open session between 6pm and 7.30pm. There will be skating attendances to assist the Joeys in fitting their skates, tips and tricks to get started and fun games to assist them in developing their skating skills. Macquarie Ice Rink asks that all skaters under 12 years of age have a parent with them at all times.

Please bring a water bottle. Food and Drinks will be avalable for purchase.
What to Bring:
Participants will need to wear uniform to and from the venue and bring the following:
- Water Bottle
- Clothes suitable for Ice Skating
- Warm Socks
- Gloves
- Protective Gear if you require - including helmet, knee, wrist, elbow pads
- Money if Purchasing food and drink
Parents & Siblings:
Parent helpers are always welcome and encoraged on to the ice with your Joey! Please register a ticket for each person attending, both skating and spectating.
Feeling Sick?
Please don't come if you're feeling sick.
Our immuno-compromised youth members are at risk of serious illness if they contract 'simple' viruses or infections.
Regardless, it's not nice to spread your germs with other kids or volunteers.
You should stay home and DO NOT attend Scouts if:
- You have an illness (or even mild symptoms) such as fever, cough, sore throat, rash, or runny nose, even if you think you 'feel fine'.
- You have vomited anytime in the last 24hrs for any reason.
Attendees to any event with signs of illness such as fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, etc may be sent home immediately.
