Teddy Bear's Day Out 2026
The enchanting Mornington Tourist Railway becomes the perfect setting for a delightful teddy bear's day out.
As the vintage train chugs along the scenic tracks, children and their beloved stuffed companions eagerly anticipate the adventure ahead. The rhythmic clatter of the wheels provides a soothing soundtrack, and the gentle breeze rustles through the trees, creating a whimsical atmosphere.
Pack your own lunch or pick some of the delightful nibbles available from our dedicated station team.
The journey on the Mornington Tourist Railway, coupled with the joy of the teddy bear's day out, creates cherished memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.
If you don't have a Teddy Bear but a Security toy instead, then bring them along for a train ride. Teddy's etc must be accompanied by their owner to travel free.
Along with the ONE Hour return train ride here are some of the fantastic activities we will be having:
- Small animal petting zoo at Moorooduc Station
- Our very own Live Teddy, who will travel onboard and loves High-Fives and to have his picture taken with the kids.
Ticketing Prices:
Tickets are for single seats which are not pre-allocated.
Compartments, unless booked exclusively, may need to be shared.
- Compartment (8 Seats/Tickets): $135 - Tickets must be bought for extra passengers.

- Child (Return); $20
- Family (2 Adults + 2 Children); $79
- Concessions (Pension, Medical, Student, Carers and Seniors Cards): $27
- Children under 3: $5
- Companion; FREE (please still book a ticket);
(Companion must accompany a paying passenger and present their Companion Card at Ticket Office.
