Demystifying the Vineland-3 & completing it with confidence
About
Inner East Student Support Services (SSS) are running an in-person session for school leaders and teachers on understanding and completing the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale (Third Edition) in preparation for a Disability Inclusion Profile Meeting. The session will introduce the Vineland-3, understand its uses, and identify tips to respond to the Vineland-3 items more accurately. Specifically, we will discuss:
- how to accurately rate items,
- how to choose the best informant, and
- when to tick the estimated box
Vineland-3 scoring (i.e., calculating raw scores, scaled scores, and composite scores) is beyond the scope of the training and will not be covered in the session.
This session will be held on Tuesday, 28th April from 9:00am-10:30am at the Glen Waverley Regional Office (295 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley, 3150). Please note that each school can register a maximum of 5 attendees for the session. If there are additional places available, we will notify you via email and you may register more staff.
