A one-day hands-on workshop on synthetic diamonds and diamond simulants presented by Bill Sechos, one Australia's leading teachers on diamonds (natural, synthetic and simulants). The workshop will emphasise handling stones and using both common and more advanced laboratory techniques. Bill will also demonstrate commercial diamond testing methods. Participants are asked to bring their own loupe and tweezers - all other equipment and course notes will be provided. On successful completion of this course, the National Council of Jewellery Valuers credits their members 4 professional development points
