Loony Parked
Loony Parked
A wild devised show celebrating the beautifully weird: part carnival, part fever dream, part love letter to vintage vaudeville and The Ekka — born from Sharman, Livermore, and Auntie Jack’s chaos.
Loony Parked (3b Creative’s 10th Birthday Bash) is a museum of the “parked” self — where forgotten dreams ,nostalgia, outgrown dreams, childhood obsessions, delusions get one last, loud, gloriously off-kilter moment.
Expect sequins, bad timing, and moments that make you cringe, cackle, and cheer — all at once.
Unapologetically human. Deeply surreal.
July 10–12, 2026 | Buderim War Memorial Hall - 4 performances only
Half an hour before show starts some fabulous pre show entertainment.
from Madam Wu’s Forecasting to a Flea Circus, faded entertainers and some Tumbling Tots.
So if you are coming to 2pm shows be there for 1.30pm and same for evening shows - 7.30pm start - be there at 7 for pre show entertainment.
In an era of instant viral fame and hyper-produced content, Loony Parked turns its gaze toward the slowly disappearing—the big characters, monologues, gag jokes and music that once filled variety halls, early television, cabaret and community theatre but are now teetering on the edge of the general consciousness.
Part dark comedy, part immersive concert, the show features a carousel of forgotten figures sharing their final, frantic moments of relevance, invoke memory.
A highly inclusive show we have past- it performers, wizened wonders and some people who have no talent at all !
Expect to see some familiar coast theatre faces as well as some new performers.
A space for the things people have forgotten they loved.
It’s funny, it’s uncomfortable, sometimes sad. It’s a bit like finding a dusty box of old toys in an
attic—except the toys have a lot of baggage and an audience.
Loony Parked promises a night of:
Hauntingly Humorous Monologues: Character studies of entertainers on their last ride.
Lost Music: Deeply nostalgic yet surreal musical performances.
Immersive Atmosphere: Vaguely dark comedy setting that challenges the traditional variety format.
Adult Themes. There is a language warning and rating is 15+ for some items.
Don’t let curiosity sit idle. Come see what happens when the weird is finally set free.
