Join us these April school holidays for a fun, skill-building Track & Field Clinic designed to help kids feel confident and prepared for competition day.
📍 Venue: Sydney Academy of Sport
📅 Date: Wednesday 8th April 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 am–3:00 pm (8:50 am registration)
💲 Cost: $90 per child
👧 Ages: 8–14
What to Bring:
Morning tea, lunch, water bottle, hat, warm clothing & rain jacket.
What We’ll Cover:
A full day developing run, jump & throw skills for all abilities:
Sprinting – Starts, speed, running technique & strong finishes
High Jump – Approach, take-off & landing fundamentals
Long Jump – Run-up, power, take-off & landing skills
Middle Distance – Pacing, endurance & race tactics
Shot Put – Technique, footwork & competition rules
Discus (time permitting) – Grip, technique & release basics
Optional Pole Vault $15 (3:00 pm–4:00 pm) – A 1-hour add-on with Coach Ilse Way, learning the fundamentals of this super fun event!
Please note: The Pole Vault clinic is for age 10+ only and requires a minimum of 5 athletes to go ahead; you will be notified if this minimum is not reached.
Overall, a fantastic opportunity for your child to build skills, confidence, and have a great day of athletics.
