Mason), a Black, non‑binary queer stage manager who, after a humiliating incident at work, escapes into a vivid fantasy where Abraham Lincoln (Pete Ploszek) shares a secret romance with fictional companion Elmer (Alex Esola). As the imagined affair plays out on an abstract stage, Taffeta grapples with their own buried desires and isolation, blurring the lines between history, identity, and performance.
