Local Mother and Nana, Mandy is a bona fide Broadford local with a passion for gardening and cooking for her family and loved ones. Mandy is widely travelled, has experienced many cooking opportunities overseas, and is willing to now share her passion with us. She has a deep understanding of the benefits - both nutritional and financial - to cooking at home and with local produce. Whether it's catering for events of up to 60+ people, or providing daily for her family and grandchildren at home, she is an expert at utilising staples from the pantry, and finding the best seasonal goods to add to a meal for real flavour.
In this class we will prepare an entree size pasta dish called conchiglioni; large stuffed pasta shells with ricotta, silver beet and garlic, sitting in a roasted tomato and leek sauce. This dish is yummy, looks fancy and great for beginners and experienced alike.
Feel free to dine with us after we cook, or take the dish home.
