About
An opportunity for our Pannawonica residents to see what mining life is like as special guests at Mesa J Mine Site, followed by lunch at Pannawonica Village Mess.Bus will collect families from their closest bus stop departing Bus Stop 1 at 08:00 and doing the usual town loop.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Pannawonica residents may register family consisting of spouse/partners, children, parents and siblings to attend a Family Day.
- Children must be aged 5 years and over.
- Forward-facing car seats are required for children up to 7 years and must be self-fitted to the bus between 0730 - 0800 at Pannawonica Village Bus Parking Bay (Bus Stop 1)
- Infants in Rear-facing seats are not permitted on the tour for safety reasons and this is to be strictly adhered to due to child safety restraint laws.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Registered guests will be required to disclose any conflicting interest (e.g. employee of a competitor, journalist, financial analyst).
FAMILY DAY SITE STANDARDS:
- Closed-in shoes must be worn at all times.
- Casual clothes – a long sleeved collared shirt and long pants are compulsory.
- Guests are to supply their own sun hats.
- PPE will be provided by Rio Tinto as required.
All nominated guests must abide by site rules and regulations. Employees are to ensure their guests are following site rules and regulations on the day.
