Our Home-Schooling Engineering & Robotics Club in Joondalup offers an exciting hands-on learning experience for students aged 6 to 15 years who are curious about how machines work and love building things.

This term, students will explore the theme of SMART Home Engineering, where they will design and build working prototypes using LEGO® engineering kits. Through fun and interactive projects, students will learn how everyday home appliances work and understand the engineering concepts behind them.

During the sessions, students will build models such as washing machines, drum machines, cake mixers, and other smart home mechanisms. While building these projects, they will learn important engineering and physics concepts including:

Centripetal force

Gear transmission

Belt transmission

Motion and mechanical systems

Basic engineering design and problem-solving

Each session focuses on hands-on learning, allowing students to experiment, build, test, and improve their creations while developing critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in engineering and robotics.

Our program is designed to make STEM learning fun, practical, and engaging, helping students understand real-world applications of science and engineering through play-based exploration.
