About
School leaders and wellbeing staff are invited to attend the Respectful Relationships Child Safety Forum focused on strengthening school responses to family violence within a child safety context, aligned with the Support for Students and Staff element of the whole-school approach to child safety. The forum builds practical capability to identify family violence related concerns, respond appropriately, and meet Child Safe Standards, mandatory reporting, and information sharing obligations.Through expert guest presentations from The Orange Door, Community-Based Child Protection, and a Child and Family Violence Information Sharing Schemes (CISS & FVISS) specialist, alongside practical, case-based learning, participants will strengthen leadership practice, build confidence in using MARAM, CISS and FVISS, and develop clearer internal processes and escalation pathways to support consistent and confident practice across schools.
