SWIMInfo FNQ Cairns w/ Jodie Bradley. New Venue, New Format
About
SWIMInfo is coming to Cairns with an exciting new format designed to provide both practical and engaging professional development for swim teachers, coaches and aquatic professionals.
This two-part event will be delivered across two days, giving participants the flexibility to attend one session or both, with 5 PD points available per day.
The program begins Saturday at the Cairns Harbourside Hotel, where participants will take part in engaging in-class presentations focused on learn-to-swim teaching, teacher education and development and industry best practice.
The learning continues Sunday morning from 9.00am – 11.30am, moving poolside for in-water practical sessions hosted by Herbie Howard, Paris Paralympic Coach, at his facility - Herbs Training and Swim School. These hands-on sessions will explore techniques and teaching approaches across the pathway from learn-to-swim through to coaching, giving participants practical strategies they can immediately apply on pool deck.
The sessions will be presented by Jodie Bradley, a SWIM Australia Trainer who has been part of Paul Sadler Swimland since 2009.
ABOUT JODIE
Jodie Bradley (nee Tosone) has been part of the Paul Sadler Swimland team since June 2009, building extensive experience in swim teaching, program development, and instructor training within one of Australia’s most established swim schools.
Across more than a decade in the industry, Jodie has developed a deep passion for helping teachers grow their confidence and capability in delivering high-quality swimming and water safety education. Her work focuses on supporting instructors to create engaging lessons while maintaining strong technical foundations and safety standards.
