*Parent Booking & Liability Acknowledgment*I acknowledge that a year 6 parent, Veronica Jovanovic, is required to sign an Event Agreement with Ottimo House on behalf of all families and is the main contact for the Year 6 Graduation Event (the Event).
I acknowledge and accept the “Conditions of Attendance” below and “Ottimo House Rules” on behalf of myself and each person under the age of 18 for whom I book a ticket.
Conditions of Attendance:
By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you confirm that you agree to these Conditions of Attendance.
1. Responsibility & Risk
You accept all risks of your child attending the Event.
You are responsible for any damage, loss or costs directly caused by your child.
If damage, loss or costs cannot be linked to a specific child, all parents will be required to proportionally share the cost.
2. Indemnity
By buying a ticket, you agree to indemnify (financially protect) and keep indemnified Veronica Jovanovic. This means that if she is held responsible for any claim, cost, loss, or damage related to the Event, you (along with all other parents):
- must cover those costs, even if you were not personally at fault; and
- must reimburse Veronica Jovanovic, promptly.
3. Limits on responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Ottimo House and Veronica Jovanovic are not responsible for:
- harm, injury or illness;
- loss of or damage to personal belongings; and
- other losses connected to the Event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability for negligence and any indirect or unexpected losses are excluded.
4. Entry Requirements for children:
Before being allowed entry, your child must:
- be signed in by a parent or guardian;
- present a valid ticket; and
- follow the directions of staff and parent helpers at the Event.
5. Behaviour Rules
Ottimo House may require you or your child to leave if behaviour:
- causes disruption;
- affects safety; or
- puts other people at risk of harm or injury.
OTTIMO HOUSE RULES - IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL GUESTS:
These rules must be shared with all attendees prior to the function, in addition Ottimo House will display the House Rules at the entrance of the venue.
Burn outs are strictly forbidden, all cars entering the property will logged and number plates taken. Any damage to other vehicles or injuries incurred from failure to abide by this rule will be reported to the police along with the number plate of the offending individual.
Parents are welcome to come to the venue to take photos prior to the formal however they WILL NOT be allowed on property and will need to remain in the car park area – only students, teachers and parents that are attending the event will be allowed onto the venue.
For your safety and the safety of your guests, once you enter the venue you must stay inside the venue premises at all times, this includes the outside deck of The Marquee.
Any guests who leave the premises will not be allowed re-entry under any circumstances.
There is no service of alcohol to students or their partners. No exceptions.
Any guest found in possession of alcohol will be removed from the venue.
Any guest under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed entry into the venue. Management discretion exercised.
Any guests found in the possession of drugs or banned substances will be dealt with directly by the police.
Smoking and Vapes are not permitted in the venue, this includes restrooms. Anyone caught smoking or vaporing in the venue will be removed.
Ottimo House have a ZERO tolerance to disruptive or abusive behavior. Management has the right to exercise their judgement on this matter. Anyone found to be acting in a disruptive or abusive manner will be removed from the venue. Failure to comply will result in police involvement.
Glassware is not permitted on the dancefloor.
Shoes must be worn at all times in the venue – we recommend the ladies bring a second pair of flat shoes for dancing.
Ottimo House requests that students respect our neighbors when leaving the premises. All students are required to leave in a quiet and orderly manner. Tooting horns upon departure is strictly forbidden.
