2026 Australian Maths Challenge and Maths Competition
About
• Maths Challenge is a group problem-solving challenge completed across four consecutive weeks. Students brainstorm as a group and then work individually to submit their results. The challenge will take place in Term 2 during Weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5..• Australian Mathematics Competition is a one-hour, engaging 30-problem paper test completed in Week 3 of Term 3.
The cost for participation in each event is:
· Australian Maths Challenge: $24 per student (plus processing fee)
· Australian Mathematics Competition: $9.30 per student (plus processing fee)
