In partnership with Metro Trains, we are offering a FREE 3-week rail awareness sessions:Wednesday 10 June - Get on Board - Rail Safety and Awareness
Supported by knowledgeable Metro Community Education
staff participants learn how to plan a trip, move safely
through stations, and understand what to expect on the
train, all in a friendly, supportive group setting
Wednesday 17 June: Click, Tap & Go - Digital Literacy
In this low-pressure hands-on session participants will explore
public transport apps, journey planning tools and Myki features
while building confidence with technology in a supportive
environment guided by Metro Community Education staff.
Wednesday 24 June: Get On Board - Travel Training
The program wraps up with a group outing to a destination
chosen by participants in Session Two. Travelling together and
supported by Metro Community Education staff, turning
public transport into a social, confidence-building adventure.
Participants are expected to attend all 3 sessions. The sessions are free; however, participants will have the opportunity on week 3 to purchase food & drinks.
