FRIDAY: WELCOME & CAMPFIRE MAGIC

From 10:00 — Arrival Settle in and breathe in the fresh country air. • FREE Treasure Hunt to keep the kids busy and smiling.

17:00 – 17:30 — Bonfire Lighting Gather as we officially ignite the Makietie spirit.

18:00 – 23:00 — Braai & Kuier Bring your tjops, wors and stories. Relax, mingle, and enjoy the evening.

19:00 – 20:00 — Campfire Delight Singing, laughter, and activities led by Alzanne Eksteen. 🎶 If you play an instrument, bring it along to add to the vibe.

From 20:00 — Sweet Treats by the Fire • FREE marshmallow braai • FREE hot chocolate Perfect for kids and grown‑ups alike.

SATURDAY: A FULL DAY OF SOUTH AFRICAN FLAVOUR

10:00 – 16:00 — Taste of South Africa Feast on authentic South African dishes and explore unique art & craft stalls. • FREE children’s activities throughout the day • Face painting available (small cost applies).

10:00 – 16:00 —  Music & Entertainment Soak up the sounds of South African artists during the day - organised by Alzanne Eksteen.

15:00 – 16:00 — Boeresport Extravaganza Sack races, egg‑and‑spoon, and more! 🏆 Prizes to be won!

Big screen for Footy Final and Rugby will be available.

19:00 – 23:00 — Sokkie & Feast at Myrrhee Town Hall (only 6 kms away from Brookfield Maze). A lively night of sokkie, singing, and celebration.
🍽️ Serengeti Food Truck serving delicious South African favourites.
👶 FREE babysitting for little ones not attending the sokkie.

SUNDAY: COMMUNITY, CONNECTION & FAREWELL

08:00 – 10:00 — Breakfast Enjoy a hearty morning meal from Serengeti Food Truck.

10:00 – 11:00 — Sunday Serenity A warm, heartfelt church service to start the day with gratitude.

11:00 – 12:00 — Family/Team Quiz Time Fun, laughter, and friendly competition. 🏆 More prizes up for grabs!

12:00 – 14:00 — Braai & Kuier One last chance to relax, eat, and enjoy each other’s company.

From 14:00 —  Clean-up & Goodbyes for those who wants to leave on Sunday. Until next year!

A weekend ticket gives you access to the Maze and facilities, all free activities from Friday - Sunday. (When you book your tickets you will receive another email with more detailed information).
A day ticket gives you access for only one day of the long weekend to the Maze and facilities and all free activities for the day as per the programme. (When you book your tickets you will receive another email with more detailed information).
