About
Basketball Australia’s Ford Aussie Hoops is the official introductory basketball program for children aged 5–10 years, designed to give young players their first experience in the game in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.Through engaging activities, skill challenges and modified games, participants learn the fundamentals of basketball — including dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork — while building confidence and developing a love for the sport. The nationally developed curriculum ensures sessions are age-appropriate and progressively prepare players for the next step into local competitions and development programs.
