Intermediate A2.6 - Term 2, 2026 |
Monday evenings with Frédérique 6:45-8:45pm.
This course requires about three years of previous French study. It is open to students who completed our Intermediate A2.5 course in term 1, 2026. New students should email us to enquire about availability before enrolling.
During term 2, you will finish off the leçons in Unité 4 before starting the leçons in Unité 5 of the Inspire 2 textbook. Topics will include: modern workspaces and workstyles, elite sport, talking about an exceptional cultural event, describing a change of direction in your life. Grammar points include: revision of past tenses; the difference between ‘pendant’, ‘depuis’ and ‘pour’; adverbs; exclamations (!) and saying that something is ‘no longer’ the case.
The course covers the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
