Join Us for the 2026 Charlie Green Regimental Dining-In!The Australian War College will host the annual Charlie Green Dinner in the Weston Creek Mess on Fri, 22 May 26.
The dinner formally recognises Lieutenant Colonel Charles Green, DSO, the only Commanding Officer of a Royal Australian Regiment Battalion to be killed on operations. The dinner also affords the opportunity for networking and socialising amongst the course members and invited guests, including Army's senior leaders and the Family of LTCOL Green.
Timings:
1800-1830h - arrival
1830h - announcement of VIPs
1900-2130h - formal dinner
2200h - formalities concluded
The dress requirements are as follows:
Senior Officer – 6C / SO4
Army Officer – 6A ‘Mess Dress’ or 6D ‘Mess Dress Army’ (as issued)
CM WO – 6B ‘Mess Dress White Jacket SNCO’ or 6D ‘Mess Dress Army’ (as issued)
OCM – National Mess Dress equivalent
Other invited Service representatives in their Mess Dress equivalent
Civilians – Black tie.
