Alana De Roma - Studio Owner/Head Teacher

Singing/Acting/Musical Theatre
Alana De Roma is a true 'Triple Threat' in show business, excelling as a singer, dancer, and actress. With over 27 years of industry experience, she has trained at renowned schools including The McDonald College School of Performing Arts, Brent Street Studios, and Janice Breen Performance Studios.
At the young age of seven, Alana starred in her first feature film, 'Amy.' Her mature acting style and unique on-screen presence garnered critical acclaim, earning her Best Actress awards in Italy and Canada. She was also nominated alongside Nicole Kidman, Toni Collette, and Rachel Griffiths for Australia's Top Ten Best Actress Awards at the People's Choice Awards.
Alana's vocal talents caught the attention of Festival/Mushroom Records, leading to a recording contract. She released the single 'Ain't no Sunshine' and the soundtrack for 'Amy.' Recognised for her individuality, Alana was contracted with Disney to record 'Part of your World' for the re-release of the beloved film, The Little Mermaid. Her work also extended to Japan, Korea, and Singapore.
In musical theatre, Alana has performed in various productions, including Cameron Mackintosh's 'Oliver,' where she portrayed 'Bet.' She has also appeared in Aladdin and numerous corporate and variety shows. As a soloist singer, she graced the stage at the NSW Government's 'Premiers Concert,' touring regional Australia.
Alana's career highlights include sharing the stage with Michael Jackson during his Sydney Concert. Her television appearances include The Midday Show, The Aria Music Awards, the AFI Awards, Today Tonight, Saturday Disney, Carols in the Domain, and Cheez TV. Additionally, she has starred in short films and TV commercials aired in Australia.
Alana's artistic ventures extend to writing, producing, and starring in her own Cabaret show, 'From Then To Now,' featured in the Sydney sideshow festival. In 2014, she established the successful ADVC Performance Studio in Drummoyne, Sydney, providing innovative and creative singing, dancing, and acting classes.
Alana's remarkable journey as an artist and mentor provides the experience and knowledge to ignite creativity and inspire authenticity, to nurture aspiring artists to embrace their voices and leave a mark on the world.
Ryan Ophel - Theatre Jazz

Ryan Ophel graduated from ED5 International in 2017 and made his professional debut in Aladdin with Disney Theatrical Productions, touring Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. He went on to appear as Gregory Gardner in A Chorus Line with Darlinghurst Theatre Company, performing at the Sydney Opera House and Riverside Theatres. His theatre credits include Frozen the Musical and Beauty and the Beast with Disney Theatrical Productions, touring internationally with The Tap Pack throughout Germany, and appearing in the workshop, the national tour of Leap with Neil Gooding Productions and Annie the Musical for Crossroads Live.
Ryan has also worked extensively with Opera Australia in productions including Don Quichotte, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, and La Traviata. On screen, Ryan has appeared on Australia’s Got Talent, The Voice, and Carols in the Domain. He was a featured soloist in Reflections with Primal Dance Company and is a regular teacher at Sydney Dance Company.

Veronica Clavijo - Acting

Veronica Clavijo is a multi-skilled actor, writer, performer, and emerging director based on Gadigal Land, with a passion for big characters and bold, heartfelt storytelling. She holds a Cert IV in Performing Arts, a Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management, a BA in Media and Philosophy (Distinction), and an MA in Creative Writing.
For the past 15 years, Veronica has worked as a professionally represented actor. Her recent screen credits include F Ward (Stan), Deadly Women (Beyond Productions), Final Broadcast (William Street Productions), Keith Urban and P!nk’s One Too Many, and Face Up to the Sun (Mike Williams & Justin Mylo). She has also appeared in campaigns for Bankwest, CitiBank, Real Insurance, and Tylenol.
On stage, Veronica has stepped into iconic roles including Lina Lamont in Singing in the Rain, Marion in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Maria/Ensemble in 9 to 5: The Musical, and Gangster 2 in Kiss Me, Kate. Additional theatre credits include Alison’s House (Depot Theatre), A Blobfish Who Knew How to Dance Salsa (Ayla Drama Group/Sydney Fringe), and Baraki (Take Away Theatre). Most recently, she played Sarah in Atlantis (subtlenuance) at KXT Broadway.
As a director, Veronica has led youth productions including Shrek Jr and Aladdin Kids, served as Assistant Director on The Lightning Thief: Theatre for Young Audiences Edition (Regals). She was also Assistant Choreographer on Margaret Fulton: Queen of the Dessert (Bondi Theatre Company).
Veronica is represented by CMT Talent and is a proud member of MEAA. She is committed to diverse, inclusive storytelling and to championing performers of all levels and abilities.
When she’s not on stage or set, Veronica volunteers on the committee for The Regals Musical Society, teaches her wonderful students, writes creatively, and spends time with her family.
Murray Cunynghame - Musical Theatre

Murray Cunynghame is a performer from Sydney, specialising in Musical Theatre, Tap and Jazz. After graduating from Ed5International in 2021, he performed around the world with Royal Caribbean, most recently as an ensemble member in Grease. Other credits include touring NSW with Perform Education and Sydney Mardi Gras Parades. Murray is currently playing the role of Nick in the Australian premiere of THE PROM at Teatro!

Conditions of Registration:
The workshop will only go ahead if 10 or more students are enrolled.
No refunds will be given if your child is unable to attend the workshop on the day.
Your place in the workshop is only secured once full payment is made online
Parents and students understand that no child can leave the venue for lunch. All students will need to bring a packed lunch/drink on the day.
Children are left in the care of ADVC Performance Studio and guest teachers for the duration of the workshop.
Parents MUST be available for drop off and pick up, at the allocated times.
No parent is allowed to watch the workshop.
Parents will only be invited to watch the performance at the end of the workshop.
