Kids from 6 to 11 years will love these fun school holiday workshops in a single day! They will have a crazy time rehearsing, staging and 'filming' a classic version of a traditional fairytale! With age-appropriate scripts, music and costumes, kids will be learning some basic performance skills, making friends and building confidence. Every child will have a role to play, and the best part is that family and friends receive a copy of the recording at the end of the day!

Workshop Details

• Duration: One action-packed day of filming and fun
• Time: 9am to 3pm (Studio opens at 8:45am, collection is at 3pm*)
• Performance: You will receive a download link at the end of the day to see and share the film!
• Age range: 6 - 11 years.
  Please note: The ExitLeft Film Fairytale Holiday Workshop sessions are designed for children aged 6 years and over. The program involves structured filmmaking activities and group collaboration that require a level of independence not typically suited to children aged 5, so we are unable to accept bookings for this age group.
• Additional needs: If your child has any additional learning, behavioural, sensory, support or medical needs, please contact us via email prior to booking, and we can discuss whether the workshop environment will work well for them.
• Cost: $109 per workshop
• What to wear: Children should wear long, plain black pants and a plain white top.
• What to bring: Packed lunch plus a snack for morning and afternoon tea, a bottle of water and a hairbrush. Please do not send: Yoghurt or milk-based drinks, food to share, nuts or electronic devices.

Terms and Conditions

By registering my child for this workshop, I have read and understood the following terms and conditions of enrolment:

• Children must be 6 years old to participate.
• No refunds for change of mind. 
• Substitutions of participants can be made prior to program commencement by notifying ExitLeft in writing, provided participants are eligible for the session.
• ExitLeft may offer a substitute workshop if workshop numbers are low. You will be notified up to 48 hours before and given the option of a credit note or refund if the substitute workshop is not suitable. 
• Should ExitLeft need to cancel a program refund, credit or transfer to another course will be offered.
• Once a program has commenced no refund or credit note is possible.
• If your child is unwell please keep them home. As many of our workshops sell out, if you let us know the night before we may be able to offer your spot to someone on the waitlist and provide a credit note for the next holiday period. You must let us know prior to 6pm the night before via email info@exitleft.com.au.
• If your child is unable to settle, refuses to participate, or their behaviour is unacceptable, you will be contacted and asked to collect them immediately. No refund will be applicable.
• If a child is collected after 3:15pm you may be charged a late collection fee of $20 per 10 minutes*.
• Parts of the program may take place in locations other than the Studio. These excursions will all be within walking distance of the studio and students will be fully supervised.
• You give permission for photography, video or audio recording of the student for teaching purposes, usage in promotional and publicity material for the ExitLeft Performance Academy, and on social media.
• Fairytale Theatre Holiday Workshops are a nut-free and device-free zone.
