Are you a parent of a child who struggles with organisation, time management, or following routines? You’re not alone—and there are practical, evidence-based strategies that can help

Join Dr. Ruth Tesselaar, Neuropsychologist with over 16 years of experience, and founder of Dandelion Hub, for a supportive, interactive workshop designed just for you. In this 90-minute live session, you’ll discover:

  • What executive functions are and how they shape your child’s behaviour, emotions, and daily life
  • Why traditional approaches may not work—and what does
  • Practical, strengths-based strategies you can use immediately
  • How to create and implement executive function supports your child will actually engage with
  • The confidence to know what to do with your child tomorrow

Who is this for?
Parents and carers of neurodivergent children (including ADHD, autism, acquired brain injury), or those with a history of complex trauma, or have an oncology background) who want to understand and support executive function in everyday life.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • Clarity on what executive functions are and the impact of difficulties
  • Step-by-step strategies to try tomorrow
  • Confidence to support your child’s unique needs

This is a small group, interactive workshop. Partners are warmly welcome—no second registration required.

Why this workshop?

Dr. Ruth Tesselaar is a highly experienced Neuropsychologist, skilled at translating research around executive functioning into practical, everyday, interventions.  She is also a skilled presenter and facilitator, making this the perfect skill match-up for workshops where participants are made to feel welcomed, and encouraged to engage in discussion.

FAQ

  • Who is this for?
    • Parents of children who struggle with getting ready on time, struggles to start tasks, needs frequent reminders to complete activities.  Executive function difficulties are often seen in neurodivergent children (ADHD, autism, learning differences, etc.) and also in children who have a history of complete trauma, or have an oncology background.
  • Will there be a replay?
    • Yes, all registrants receive access to the recording for 14 days.
  • Is this evidence-based?
    • Yes, all strategies are grounded in current research and neuroaffirming practice.
  • Can me partner come?
    • YES! We think it's fantastic if you partner is also able to attend. They can attend on the same ticket (i.e., only one ticket per family is required)
  • Should my child attend?
    • This is up to you, however, most parents and carers prefer to attend without their children so they can ask more open questions.
  • I still want more information to see if this is for me:
