Recfishwest is proud to partner with the Geraldton Sports Centre to deliver two fun, safe and hands-on fishing experiences in Geraldton this school holidays!Proudly supported by Healthway and Shimano, these sessions are designed to get kids outdoors, learning new skills and discovering the joy of fishing in a safe and sustainable way. Whether you’re casting a line for the first time or already a keen young angler, our clinics are the perfect way to build confidence, pick up new techniques and enjoy time by the water.
This 2-hour session includes:
• 15 minutes – interactive talk and demonstration on fishing basics, safety and sustainability
• 90 minutes – guided fishing and advice from our instructors and club volunteers - with all gear and bait supplied
• 15 minutes – wrap-up, Q&A and prize giveaways
Where: Geraldton Town Beach - 31 Foreshore Dr, Geraldton WA 6530
When: 15-April-2026. Session 1: 9:00 - 11:00am. Session 2: 12:00 - 2:00pm
What to bring: Please make sure your child has a hat and SunSmart clothing, adequate hydration and supervision
