Men's Mental Health Lunch Townsville
About
Join us for an afternoon dedicated to connection, conversation and real impact, as we bring our community together to shine a light on men’s mental health. We are proud to welcome Steve Morris and Aaron More from Strong Minds as our guest speakers — two powerful voices in the men’s mental health space. Through their work, they are supporting men to navigate grief, trauma, identity and emotional wellbeing, while challenging the stigma that continues to hold so many back from speaking up.
Steve and Aaron will share raw, honest and deeply relatable stories, alongside practical insights into what’s really going on for men behind the scenes — the pressures, the silence, and the turning points that can change lives. Their work is grounded in lived experience, making their message not only powerful, but real, relatable and impactful.
Alongside our guest speakers, we’ll be hosting a local panel of community leaders and lived experience voices, opening up important conversations around mental health, resilience, and what support can look like in our everyday lives.
This event is about creating a space where people feel comfortable to connect, reflect, and be part of something bigger — all while enjoying a relaxed, social atmosphere.
With lawn games, great food and a vibrant outdoor setting, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring your crew, your mates and your team together for a meaningful afternoon.
Most importantly, this event is raising funds for TIACS, providing free, professional counselling services for tradies, farmers and blue-collar workers — the people who often need it most but are the least likely to reach out.
