Remembering and celebrating Judith Barbour
About
Join us for a commemorative event in honour of Dr Judith Barbour (16 November 1930-19 October 2025)—inspirational scholar, teacher, colleague and friend—as we celebrate Judy’s life and her long and storied career at the University of Sydney. The event will be held on Friday 10 April, 2pm-5pm, in the Rogers Room, Woolley Building, with refreshments.
It will be an afternoon of tributes and readings, followed by an informal sharing of memories over drinks.
If you would like to read from Judy’s work—or from work by others that Judy loved and wrote or spoke about—please let us know.
Feel free to pass this message on to other friends or colleagues who might be interested in joining us for Judy’s celebration.
Please RSVP for catering purposes.
