Bee a Honey for Congo!
Join us on Saturday, May 30 for a family-friendly bee-themed cupcake decorating workshop in Glenbrook (Lower Blue Mtns), NSW celebrating the amazing role bees play in our world.
Our Queen Bee Cupcake Coach will be Dianne Woollard, a Rotarian and member of the Cake Decorators Guild of NSW – Golden West Branch.
All proceeds from the workshop will support a beekeeping project in a remote village in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
RAWCS Project 20-2013-14 – Lotumbe Community Development, helps communities build sustainable livelihoods while protecting bees and the environment. Also on sale will be honey, handicrafts with a colourful Congo flair and raffle tickets offering the chance to win bee-utiful prizes!
Gluten-free cupcakes and bee/pollinator decorating supplies will be provided. Just bring your creativity and get ready to create something sweet for a great cause!
Join us on Saturday May 30 from 2-4 PM at Glenbrook Girl Guides Hall, cnr Hare and Moore Streets, Glenbrook.
Cost: Adult $15 | Child over 10 years old $10
No children under 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note it’s BYOBA (bring your own take-away box and apron!)
