Yes its finally happening!!! After a four-year hiatus due to unprecedented National and Regional events we are excited to offer a nostalgic return to Camp Koinonia!!This place became a firm favourite for those who previously attended the Evans Head Women's Recovery Camp thanks to it's unique set-up and old-world charm. Camp Koinonia is a refurbished 1950's original dorm-style accommodation that offers a well-appointed communal amenities block and mess hall. The gorgeous little chapel is a true delight. Camp Koinonia is located right next to the Broadwater National Park with direct access to Airforce Beach.
This weekend is for Women in recovery from Alcohol looking for an immersion in all the fabulous things fellowship (and the sisterhood) has to offer.
Tickets for weekend are $225 inclusive of all food and accommodation
At Checkout there is an additional $5.63 in processing fees that we do not have the capability to absorb on your behalf.
Bedding is not provided.
August is the end of Winter so days are known to be lovely with much colder evenings.
You may decide to take a quick dip en masse in the ocean as many brave women do!
Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is located 35 minutes drive from Camp Koinonia, Evans Head.
CHECK IN from 3pm on Friday 28 August with dinner at 6pm.
An outdoor Camp Fire will follow the Opening Meeting so bring marshmallows!
Sunday, 30 August: Our closing meeting and sobriety countdown with RAFFLE draw is at 10am followed by a farewell morning tea.
The raffle is to help us raise funds for our next event so do remember to bring some CASH!!
BOOKING TIPS
Wanting to share with another person? You will need their name when booking
Wanting to share accommodation with 3+ people? You will need to have created a GROUP NAME with your roomies before filling in this form. Each member of your group must register/pay individually and enter the group name in the Group section of this form so we can easily identify you. More than one booking can be completed at one time.
Are you a couple wanting a Queen bed? Or two besties that don't mind sharing a queen bed if it means having a room to yourselves? You will have the ability to make this request.
We have attempted to make this booking experience as simple as we could with the accommodation on offer. Any concerns or queries do email us. Tickets can be transferred (there is a waiting list). Refunds cannot be offered after 1 August.
There are NO DAY PASSES available as this is a catered event in a private retreat space.
This is going to be one amazing weekend and we thank you for your enthusiasm, kindness, patience and support that has enabled us to continue one step at a time to make this gathering a reality. There is even a comment box at end where you can provide thoughts or suggest activities you may like considered in our itinerary for the weekend.
