Join us for a special fundraising event featuring a private screening of Giselle (Peter Wright production), performed by The Royal Ballet and screened direct from London at Palace Nova Prospect. An afternoon at the ballet with purpose — Ballet Matters supports two exceptional young dancers as they take their next steps in international ballet training.

Two dedicated young dancers. Two extraordinary opportunities. One shared dream.
Bundjalung Coker and Luke Britz, both 16 and training at Terry Simpson Studios, have been accepted into prestigious international summer intensives in 2026. Bundjalung will attend the American Ballet Theatre, School of American Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives in New York, while Luke has been offered places with the Dutch National Ballet Academy and The Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive. These highly competitive programs represent a pivotal step towards professional careers in ballet.

These opportunities are happening now — and come with significant costs. We are raising funds to support immediate training, travel, and accommodation expenses, ensuring both dancers can fully embrace these life-changing experiences. Supporting young male dancers is especially important — boys remain underrepresented in ballet, and opportunities like these are vital in helping them thrive.
