We are delighted to announce that Jiayin MasterClass will present its first open ballet masterclass in New Zealand, to be held this April in Auckland.
This special workshop will focus on the Technique and Artistry of Classical Ballet in the Vaganova tradition, designed to help young dancers strengthen their technical foundation, musical awareness and artistic expression.
For students who are serious about classical ballet training, this masterclass offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with Jiayin Du, former artist of The Australian Ballet and former teacher of both the Australian Ballet School and the Academy of Queensland Ballet.
We warmly welcome dedicated young dancers who are eager to refine their technique and deepen their understanding of classical ballet, as a rare opportunity to experience Jiayin Du’s coaching in Auckland through a workshop created for designed for serious ballet students seeking focused training in classical technique, artistry, musicality, pirouettes, allegro, and performance quality, especially students preparing for competitions, exams, auditions, and advanced classical training.
Featuring live piano accompaniment and a collaboration with a professional dance photographer.
Our sincere thanks to Elevate Youth Foundation and Mount Eden Ballet Academy for their kind invitation and support in bringing this masterclass to Auckland. We are very grateful for their collaboration in creating this opportunity for young dancers in New Zealand.
